On June 5th 2015 which was this past Friday, the last section of Interstate 485 opened to the public completing the 67 mile loop. Construction began back in 1988 on the first section of I-485 which was the first 10 miles of the loop so this 67 mile interstate was 27 years in the making from start to finish. To commemorate this event, we decided to take a complete road trip on Inner Loop I-485!
